Every brand needs a flagship that makes the rest of the range make sense, and the Ferretti Yachts 1000 does that job emphatically. At 30.13 metres, it is the largest yacht Ferretti Yachts builds, a wide-body design with the main-deck owner's suite as the headline and four further cabins below for ten guests in total.
The exterior is by Filippo Salvetti and the interiors by IdeaeItalia. The approximately 40-square-metre aft living area is the space where the 1000 earns its keep at anchor, flowing from the saloon to the sea.
The design language is pure Ferretti: sharp, contemporary, unmistakably Italian.
The verdict: the most complete expression of what Ferretti Yachts stands for. The fleet's flagship in more than name.
